Technical Architect, £65,000 - £85,000 + Excellent Benefits, Central London

Talent International are working with a leading provider of digital developments, solutions, and management services that work across multiple sectors such as the government and financial. Sitting within a much bigger arm they provide outstanding development and technology solutions and are renown as a first class Digital Transformation consultancy with International spots all over the globe.

With a strong team of 50 people it's a super exciting time to be joining the company as their Technical / Solutions Architect. You'll be responsible for inspiring and leading project teams and dealing with there on and off-shore teams across a variety of disciplines and teams including digital, development and the designer teams.

Your role be a split including 50% hands-on and should possess a great mix of skills including core Java/SE as well as enterprise development and (OOP, Design Pattern, BPM, MVC, APIs, Data Serialisation, client-server architecture, application servers/containers etc.).

You should be passionate about development and have a extremely proactive approach but also be analytical and have the ability to interact with non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

-Ensure solutions represent business requirements and create user stories, requirements definitions

-Use Agile tools and techniques and provide technology and gap analysis

-Define technology and systems requirements

-Translate requirements into business and tech solutions but also use best practice business changes

- Deliver quality functional & application designs but take on the responsibility and delivery

-Collaborate with owners, clients and stakeholders and prioritise and track the product backlog

-Be hands on and have had exposure to a range of technologies including Java, AEM, JavaScript and Data but using Agile, Data, DevOps, Cloud, Transformations.

Key skills

-Extensive background or worked within a Java, AEM environment

-Familiarity with AWS, Jenkins and Go

-JavaScript, Windows Server; Linux/Unix; AWS Cloud

-Nice to have: Dot Net / C#/ DNS / HTTP Protocols

-End-to-end experience of the project lifecycles with experience of testing the developed solution to ensure it meets requirements and expectations

-Automation and proven capability of interfacing with clients

-Proven experience in successfully leading requirements and process models.

-Develop new means of automation for CI/CD pipelines

-Knowledge of the Scrum development process (Agile)

-Experience in developing UI wireframes

-Experience with continuous integration and testing tools

-Developing the organisation, building and documenting processes, and evaluating tools

-Implement and use DevOps principles and other sets such as testing processes including the execution of test scripts successful delivery

-Knowledge of good practices around usability, maintainability and accessibility
