Sales Specialist

We are recruiting for an experienced, capable and driven sales specialist to join our sales team with a focus on the NetApp portfolio.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter who is looking to develop their career with in an established software. The best fit would be someone who has the ability to remain organized in a rapidly changing environment, is open to travel and is driven to provide high-quality customer experience.

You will be responsible for maximizing revenue growth by driving close partnerships both internally & externally and aligning the NetApp growth objectives this will be supported with joint initiatives as per the agreed business plan.


  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with allocated and target accounts, including key decision makers up to and including board level
  • Identify and maximise opportunities for sales growth using structured selling and negotiation skills and our own presales.
  • Develop collaborative customer strategies to drive new and existing
  • Ensure all actions from customer communication and meetings are distributed to the relevant personnel and are responsible for the outputs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Deliver sales to achieve targets across large and complex accounts
  • Forecast accurately via the CRM, ensuring process is adhered to.
  • Understand and promote all relevant programs and promotions to maximize the sales opportunity.


  • Build a short, medium and long term sales pipeline of opportunities to the level required by the business
  • Knowledge of NetApp portfolio mandatory
  • Knowledge of EMC / HP / HDS / Emerging tech vendors desirable
  • Develop and action working account plans using the company templates, and review monthly with
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
  • Educate the market in your vertical through hosting open-evening events and targeted sales promotions
  • Execute account planning, opportunity generation and management, communication plans and executive sponsor engagement
