PRODUCT MANAGER
We challenge ourselves to create scalable, modern and user-friendly products that will help people feel better and live longer. With a strong and growing presence in both the UK and global healthcare ecosystem, you really can make a difference to millions of peoples' lives. We're looking for an energetic, curious, focussed Product Manager who can help bring our ambitious roadmap to life.

The role:

Overview

Our Product Managers are responsible for guiding the success of our products and aligning and inspiring the cross-functional teams that are responsible for building, delivering and improving these. You will set the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product or product line, with the deep knowledge and expertise needed to lead the organization and make key product decisions.
This role spans many activities from strategic to tactical and provides important cross-functional leadership between design, development, marketing, sales and support teams. You will be responsible for defining the why, when, and what of the product that the teams build, leading cross-functional groups from a product's conception all the way through to its launch and beyond.
Strategy
The Product Manager will:
* Be responsible for setting a product vision and strategy.

* Clearly articulate the business value to the product team so they understand the intent behind the new product or product release.

* Own the roadmap and prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives behind the product.

Releases

The Product Manager will:

* Plan what their team(s) will deliver and negotiate the timeline for implementation.

* Assist in defining the release process and coordinating all of the activities required to bring the product to market.

* Bridge gaps between different functions within the company and align all the teams involved namely marketing, sales, and customer support.

* Understand and help to manage dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones.

Ideation

The Product Manager will:

* Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas.

* Determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the product strategy forward - namely those that will achieve key objectives for the product line and business.

* Ensure that feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated into product planning and development processes.

* Communicate the status of ideas back to the customers, partners, and internal team members who submitted them.

Features

The Product Manager will:

* Prioritise features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives. * Make difficult trade-off decisions based on the value that new features will deliver to customers and to the business.

* Be responsible for defining the requirements for each feature and the desired user experience.

* Work closely with engineering on the technical specifications and ensure that teams have all of the information they need to deliver a complete product to market.

Who you are:

* Naturally curious, with a strong drive to learn, discover, share and communicate

* Comfortable working with both higher level vision and strategy and lower level details

* Able to work with a cross-functional team across disciplines and bring out the best in them

* A deep sense of accountability and responsibility for the success of your products

It would be great if you also:

* Have a broad understanding and practical experience of agile approaches to working

* Can appreciate solutions from a high level architecture and technology point of view

* Don't mind getting your sleeves rolled up and moving outside of your comfort zone
