PHP Developer (Contract)

Senior LAMP STACK Developer - 6 to 12 Months - SALFORD

Talent is working with a market-leading software/data science provider who are urgently seeking an experienced PHP developer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of up to 12 months

You will be an integral part of a close knit and agile technology solutions company who are recently secured a number of lucrative contracts and will need extra capacity to cope with deman.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with cutting-edge data science technologies company. You will oversee all aspects of the development team ensuring client needs are met.

Experience is key in this role as they are expecting the suitable applicant to hit the ground running.

Skills and Experience required

• 4+ years LAMP stack experience (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Solid PHP - Object Oriented & experience with Frameworks/MVC (preferably Laravel)
• Commercial experience in web application development / software engineering role
• Able to write and document clean PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way
• Proven ability to mentoring and coaching Junior staff
