IT Sales Executive

Location: Derby

Salary: Competitive

Role: Permanent position

We are looking for a candidate who has a successful background in sales management.

Ideally the right applicant will have a proven background in sales development into one of the following key areas, with an IT product or service solution:

  • Health or Social care
  • Government or Local Authority
  • Charity
  • Legal
  • Corporate

As a strong IT Sales Executive you will be effectively managing existing relationships and generating new opportunities dedicating yourself to the healthcare and public sector market.

You will be able to learn and adapt to a role with technical knowledge - preferably you will already have knowledge of virtual conference products or similar.

You must be confident in selling to an international market and have significant practice in developing long term sales strategies and business plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·Identify and develop new business and clients through networking, and other sales communications methods.

·Proactively follow-up on correspondence to progress opportunities.

·To generate sales leads and follow them up to raise product services and brand awareness.

·To understand the client's varying, often quite specific business needs and apply knowledge of the company's products to meet those needs.

·Carry out market research, competitor analysis and customer surveys.

·To meet sales targets as set by the Directors.

·To effectively communicate the sales targets achieved with the Directors to ensure they are aware of progress.

·Marketing and promoting products by designing and compiling sales literature.

·Presenting and demonstrating products to potential clients at meetings, exhibitions, conferences, etc.

·Write technical proposals, tenders, reports and supporting literature.

·To review progress and identify opportunities for further sales and new areas for development.

·To travel where necessary in accordance with meeting sales appointments, attending conferences, seminars, etc.

·To carry out any reasonable task as required by the needs of the company.

·To represent the Company in a professional manner.

·Must have an experience of managing multi-million pound accounts and opportunities.
