My client, a global brand in their sector, is adding to their Project Management capability in their IT function as they have a healthy pipeline of projects planned throughout 2018, all signed-off and funded.
The IT function is around 30 strong and they utilise a number of off the shelf business applications both internally, and deployed to their client sites, supporting over 4000 staff UK-wide.
This PM role will report to the Head of PMO, working alongside an existing Project Manager and the four IT Departmental Heads (Service Delivery & Applications, Data, Infrastructure, and Service & Support).
The projects planned for 2018/19 are predominantly data/software related, and will involve approximately 3-5 IT resources and 2-4 stakeholders per project. Budgets are already agreed, and most costs are internal, however reporting on project financials may be required on some projects, especially where external specialist resources are used.
In addition to project experience, certification is a must have. As an absolute minimum OGC PRINCE2 Foundation, but Practitioner would be preferred.
Also, you will have clear and demonstrable experience of Risk Log Management (RAID). This is a core requirement of the role.
