The IT Infrastructure Programme Manager's role will include:

* Establishing and operating the appropriate monitoring, planning, reporting and risk-management functions globally for the programme

* Keeping stakeholders abreast of progress and issues, and highlighting any decisions or actions needed to progress

* Directing and running meetings to coordinate the activities of the programme

* Overall responsibility for project plans and project management for all initiatives under the change programme, to ensure quality, cost effective and timely delivery against agreed targets

* Contributing towards the overall effectiveness of the company / department

Experience Required

* A track record of successfully delivering complex, global IT programmes

* Proven abilities to motivate and lead through a matrix model, in addition to strong people management experience within an IT environment

* Experience of effectively managing 3rd party resources in multiple territories

* In-depth knowledge of programme and project management techniques, tools and best practices, with the ability to balance formal processes with pragmatism to drive delivery

* Political sensitivity and the ability to use formal reporting lines and persuasion to achieve consensus on decisions in matrix environments

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences in person, by telephone and in writing
