Information Security Auditor Role - £40-£50K + Benefits - Perm-Staffordshire

PCI, DATA PROTECTION, GDPR, ISO27001

An Information Security Auditor is required by our client who is a dominant player within their sector and expanding the organisation on a global scale.

The Role

As part of the Information Security team, you'll demonstrate skills acquired for planning, preparing and executing external audits. You will report to the Information Security Manager on all projects. Tasks would range from: -

  • Demonstrating knowledge of PCI, Data Protection and GDPR legislation
  • Being an ISO27001 Lead Auditor
  • Reviewing Information Security controls in line with the business requirements
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging requirements, regulatory changes and trends.
  • Updating and extending team processes as necessary to accommodate business needs.
  • Creating business focussed policy documents in all processes and standards
  • Mentoring and advising junior team members.
  • Keep business focused policy documents offering innovative control solutions
  • Assisting in any audits within that have an information security component
  • Participating in and consulting on business projects that require an Information Security input.
  • Continually evaluating Information Security controls against business requirements

Experience

  • ISO27001 and PCI audits and the annual compliance audits
  • Clear understanding GDPR
  • Clear Understanding about the Data Protection Act legislation
  • Updating and extending team processes as necessary to accommodate business needs.
  • Driving for continual improvement in all processes and standards.
  • Experience in building relationships across different departments.
