HR Supervisor - 12 Months fixed term maternity cover contract
One of Talent International's leading clients are recruiting for an experienced HR Supervisor for a 12 months maternity cover. The successful candidate will be appointed to start in August 2018. To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have skills and experience in the following:-
Major duties and responsibilities:
Work closely with all employees, departments and applicants for the purpose of providing information and assistance concerning employment, recruitment, transfers, personnel records, leaves, licences and related legal requirements.
Liaise with department heads on introducing personnel, payroll, employment benefits, assisting with enrolment forms for the purpose of ensuring employees are knowledgeable of current practices and administrative processes.
Coordinates the entire employment process including tracking of staff and key performance indicators (such as retention and absence) compared to budget and objectives
Coordinates all HR activities and ensures that all appropriate deadlines are met effectively and efficiently.
Develops a wide range of written materials - letters, forms, procedures, brochures, pamphlets for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
Ensures effective and appropriate policies and procedures are followed for the purpose of being timely, accurate, legal and meeting organisational objectives.
Assess training requirements, coordinate and evaluate effectiveness of programs, both internal and external, for the purpose of determining whether changes need to be made to ensure appropriate skills development.
You will be responsible for developing a wide range of written materials (e.g. letters, forms, procedures, brochures, pamphlets, etc.) for the purpose of documenting H&S activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information.
Preparing a variety of reports and related documents (verification requests of employment, announcements of vacancies, monthly board report, end of year reports, etc.)for the purpose of providing documentation and information to others
Coordinate and arrange company staff events
Must be able to solve problems and meet deadlines with limited supervision. In some cases they may be opportunities for the successful candidate to train and evaluate employees. The successful candidate must possess tact, diplomacy, a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
