Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police are seeking exceptional individuals, with a proven background in technical transformation at scale, who can deliver the upgrade that the two forces need.
As the Data Architect, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective design of the architecture to ensure it meets the needs of this complex public sector organisation.
This role will define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data in some way. As part of the ICT Technical Architecture Practice it will also help to create a culture of perpetual challenge and continuously improve the current user service experience.
With clear ability to think strategically whilst having a strong focus on ICT technologies you will have demonstrable knowledge of using data to drive improved customer experiences helping to design services.
Educated to degree level (Level 6 in an ICT related discipline) and/or certification in ITIL,TOGAF/COBIT, Prince2, you will have strong knowledge of BI and Data Warehousing, SQL and Oracle, Data Quality Mgmt, Data Modelling (UML, ERM), BiSL Awareness, Conceptual and Logical Modelling.
Experienced in applying architectural tools and methods using industry best practice such as Erwin and ETCL, Data Ontology (or similar) you aptitude for analysing systems, processes and operational procedures for continual improvement and ability to take the lead during technical meetings is a given.
