Role: Head of ICT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture
Experienced IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture Manager required for large Government organisation in the South East.
Must have ICT Strategy and experience of managing Enterprise Architecture teams.
Needs to be able to build relationships and work across the organisation.
Must have ability to work with departments, understand their requirements and create technical solutions that support the IT Strategy.
Establish and lead the ICT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture function providing leadership and direction across the organisation and within the team.
Providing Information, Business and Technical Strategy and Planning.
Manage the Service Portfolio ensuring ICT services are fit for purpose.
Lead the Strategy & Enterprise Architecture function.
Develop enterprise-wide architecture and processes, ensuring the buy-in of all stakeholders.
Sets direction and strategy, leads in the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies and tools.
Captures and prioritises market and environmental trends, business strategies and objectives, and identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies.
Establishes the contribution that technology can make to service objectives, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level business models, and preparing business cases.
You will need:
Degree or equivalent professional qualifications and/or experience.
Substantial, relevant professional background and proven credibility in the field.
Management qualification or relevant experience.
Leading an ICT Strategy team within a complex organisation or managed service environment and successfully delivering a strategy and a vision.
Able to obtain buy-in at all levels.
Senior Leadership position setting out Service Standards and Architecture as well as managing a Service Portfolio.
Extensive experience of being at the forefront of strategic ICT solutions to enable delivery of a diverse range of solutions in partnership with other bodies both internal and external.
Evidence of continuing to be innovative in regards to technology and managing a strategy function whilst driving down cost.
Senior stakeholder management, engaging with internal and external customers, external partners and vendors at all levels.
Management experience, building and sustaining successful teams with effective succession planning and talent management supporting staff through periods of change and
Bringing teams together to achieve a common objective.
You will also have to work with Digital Solutions across the organisation and Manage Change.
