My client based in Birmingham are Seeking a motivated, self- Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse to join their team, that is growing from strength to strength. Not only is this a great opportunity to join an exciting and strong Business Intelligence team, that is considered as a key area for the business, they also have massive plans to grow this particular division, this a great chance to join a friendly, and fun BI team that have a work hard play hard attitude.

Purpose of the Role:

  • Design and Develop performant and manageable business intelligence solutions using the full SQL Server stack.
  • Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot existing BI Solutions.
  • Support the business by addressing bespoke data requirements.
  • Complete training as required to satisfy regulatory requirements and maintain proficiency with any tools and techniques required to perform the job.
  • Perform thorough unit testing of own work.
  • Participate in peer review within the BI team.
  • Support formal testing activities.
  • Regularly report progress to BI Manager and any appropriate technical leads and Project Managers.
  • Work with business stakeholders to ensure that requirements are fully understood and the final solution is fit for purpose.

Experience required:

  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS skills
  • Experience of working in Data Warehousing/BI projects
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Good understanding of unit testing
  • Experience of report development using SSRS or Power BI


  • Experience working within Financial Services Sector
